Which girls lacrosse player will wind up leading the Suburban Council in scoring?
- Kim Carr (Colonie)
- Kendall Cietek (Guilderland)
- Tori McGrath (Bethlehem)
- Lauren Smith (Shaker)
- Kayla Treanor (Niskayuna)
5277 total votes.
There are so many talented goal scorers in the Suburban Council that it's difficult to pick only five girls lacrosse players for this week's poll. However, we think these players have a good shot at being the league's top scorer this season:
Kim Carr (Colonie) -- Has 23 goals in her team's first seven games.
Kendall Cietek (Guilderland) -- Was leading her team in goals before Morgan Hardt scored four times against Niskayuna to raise her total to 21. Still, Cietek has 19 goals for the unbeaten Lady Dutch.
Tori McGrath (Bethlehem) -- Has scored 20 goals for the Lady Eagles through the first three weeks of the season.
Lauren Smith (Shaker) -- Not only can score goals (21), but can also dish out assists (seven) on a well-balanced Blue Bison attack.
Kayla Treanor (Niskayuna) -- The Syracuse University-bound senior has 19 goals and nine assists after bouncing back from an ankle injury she suffered at the end of basketball season.
So, who do you think will be the leading scorer in the Suburban Council? Cast your vote, and let your voice be heard. Voting will remain open through midnight Monday.
